These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Koneczone (the "Service"), operated by Tems Laden Consulting Inc ("we", "us"), doing business as Koneczone, registered at 7 Markham Trail, Bowmanville, Ontario L1C 0S4, Canada. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
Koneczone is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We ask for your date of birth at signup and reject registration if it indicates you're under 18 or the date looks invalid. This check happens both in the app and at the database level. If we later learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we will suspend and remove it. If you believe an underage person is using Koneczone, please report their profile in-app (Report, then "Underage / appears to be a minor"). Reports of this kind are reviewed first.
Koneczone is an events, live streaming and friendship app. You can find and host events, watch and broadcast live video, send gifts, make friends, follow people, join groups, message and call. It relies on what members choose to share. We don't run background checks, and we don't verify anyone's identity, age or intentions beyond the checks described in these Terms.
Events are created by members, not by us, unless we clearly say otherwise. We don't organize, inspect, supervise or guarantee them, and we can't promise an event will happen as described. Hosts are responsible for their events: accurate details, permits, venue rules, safety, capacity and following the law. If you attend, you do so by your own choice and at your own risk. Meeting people carries real-world risk, so use ordinary caution, tell someone where you're going, and leave if you feel unsafe. A host may set an age limit above 18, and we may remove any event.
When you go live, anyone who can see your stream may watch it and can see and hear what your camera and microphone capture. Hosts are responsible for everything in their stream. You must accept the live rules before your first stream, and they form part of these Terms:
Get permission from people who appear in your stream, and follow the rules of the place you're streaming from. We can end a stream, remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. Hosts can mute or remove viewers and delete chat messages. Stream chat is stored so it can be moderated. Streams aren't saved as replays by us today, but other people can record their screens, so don't treat a live stream as private.
Friendship needs both people to agree. Following is one-way and doesn't need approval, and people you've blocked can't follow you. Calls between members require friendship. Group admins can manage their own groups, within these Terms.
Some profiles show a verification mark. This reflects a claim the member made about themselves, or a check we've performed where noted. It is not a guarantee of identity, age, or anything else about that person. Treat it as one signal among many, not proof.
You own the photos, video, voice recordings, messages and other content you post. By posting it, you grant us the license we need to store, display, transmit and moderate it to operate the Service, such as showing your stream to viewers or delivering your message. We don't sell your content, and we don't use it to train third-party AI models. You must have the rights to anything you post. Rights holders can send copyright complaints to support@koneczone.com.
Some features, such as hangout planning ideas and profile photo checks, use an AI provider, based on limited relevant content rather than your full history. AI output can be wrong, so use your own judgment.
Coins are a virtual, in-app ledger only. They have no cash value, can't be transferred except by sending gifts, and are non-refundable except where required by law or by the rules of the store you bought them from. Gifts are a voluntary show of appreciation. Sending one doesn't buy any product, service, or promise from the recipient, and sent gifts can't be returned. New accounts have daily limits on gifts to a new friend or to a streamer. We may adjust or discontinue the coin system, subject to applicable law and store rules.
Gifts you receive can be redeemed into a spendable coin balance or, where available, cashed out for real money. A gift becomes eligible 7 days after you receive it, and your account must be at least 30 days old. The minimum cash-out is 5,000 earned coins, valued at $20.
Cash-out requires completing the payout provider's identity and payout checks, and is only available in supported countries. Payouts aren't instant or guaranteed to succeed. We may hold or cancel earnings connected to fraud, chargebacks or violations of these Terms.
Video and phone calls connect members directly where possible, or through a relay or group video service. We don't record your calls.
View-once photos carry a name-stamped watermark to make a leaked copy traceable. No app can reliably detect or block a screenshot, so treat this as a deterrent, not a guarantee.
Don't: misrepresent your age or identity; harass, threaten or impersonate anyone; post illegal, exploitative or non-consensual content; use Koneczone to scam, solicit money off the platform, or advertise false events; manipulate gifts, viewer counts or rankings; or try to get around the age gate, blocking or moderation. We can suspend or remove any account that violates these Terms, with or without notice for serious violations.
You can block or report members, streams, chat messages and events. Reports are reviewed by moderators, and reports involving a minor are prioritized. We may remove content or suspend an account without disclosing the details to the person who reported it.
You can delete your data, or your whole account, from inside the app. See Delete your account, and our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why.
Koneczone is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any event, stream, member or interaction will be safe or accurate. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including events you attend and your interactions with other members.
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the update.
