About this policy: this describes what Koneczone collects and why, based on how the app works today. We're a growing service and will keep refining it, including through a formal legal review as we grow. We'll update the date above whenever it changes. Questions? Email support@koneczone.com.

This Privacy Policy explains what Koneczone collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Koneczone is an events, live streaming and friendship app. Koneczone is operated by Tems Laden Consulting Inc ("we", "us"), the data controller for the information described below, registered at 7 Markham Trail, Bowmanville, Ontario L1C 0S4, Canada.

1. What we collect

Account	Email, name, password (hashed by our auth provider, never visible to us), date of birth (used only to confirm you're 18+, never shown on your profile)
Sign-in with Google, Facebook or Snapchat	If you choose one of these, the provider tells us your name and email address (and a unique account ID for that provider). We use these only to create and sign you in to your Koneczone account and to pre-fill your display name. We do not receive your password, contacts, friends list, or activity from these services.
Sign-in with phone number	Your phone number, used only to sign you in and to send you one-time verification codes by text message. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Profile	Photos, voice recordings, bio, tags, life stories, tagline, background image
Activity	Messages, direct messages, gifts sent/received, friends and follows, reactions, comments, call metadata (who/when/how long — not call content)
Events	Events you host (title, details, time, city, venue, link), your RSVPs, and event chat. Other attendees can see that you're going.
Live streams	Stream title, category, start and end times, viewer counts, stream chat messages, which streams you join and how you arrived, how many times you tap, gifts sent during a stream, and bans or mutes. Video and audio pass through our streaming provider while you're live; we don't save them as replays.
Location (optional)	Your city if you add it. If you turn on location sharing, your coordinates are stored to show approximate distances, and are deleted when you turn it off.
Purchases and payouts	Coin purchase records, your coin balance and earnings, and cash-out history. Payment and identity details are handled by the store or payout provider, not stored by us.
Language and notifications	Your app language, so notifications arrive in it, and the device tokens needed to deliver notifications.
Trust & safety	Blocks and reports you file or that are filed against you, moderation actions
Technical	Device/browser info needed for the app to function (e.g. to connect a call)

2. How we use it

To operate core features: your profile, events, live streams, gifts, messages, calls, friends and follows, and notifications.
To enforce the age gate and act on reports (including underage reports, which are prioritized).
To generate short, feature-specific AI results, such as hangout ideas and profile photo checks, using only the limited content relevant to that feature, sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for that single purpose. We don't hand your full profile or message history to the AI provider, and we don't use your content to train anyone's models.
To review reports about streams, chat, events and members.
To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Other members — your profile as your privacy settings allow, anything you broadcast or post in a live stream to the people watching it, and your RSVP to other attendees. Hosts can see stats for their own streams, including top gifters, top tappers (unless you use incognito) and viewer totals by city.
Supabase — our database, authentication, file storage, and realtime infrastructure provider. They host the data described above on our behalf.
Google, Facebook (Meta) and Snap — only if you choose to sign in with them. They see that you're signing in to Koneczone under their own privacy policies; we don't send them anything about your activity on Koneczone.
An SMS delivery provider — if you sign in with a phone number, your number and the one-time code are passed to a text-message provider solely to deliver that code.
Anthropic (Claude) — receives the specific content needed to generate an AI-assisted feature's result, as described above.
LiveKit — carries live stream and group call video and audio in real time.
A TURN relay service (Cloudflare) — helps two members' devices connect a call when a direct connection isn't possible. It relays call traffic and doesn't store it.
Apple, Google and RevenueCat — process and record in-app purchases.
Stripe — identity checks and creator payouts, where you use them.
Apple and Google push services, and Resend — deliver notifications and email.
Vercel and Sentry — application hosting, and crash and error monitoring.

We don't share your data with anyone else except where required by law.

Google user data

If you sign in with Google, Koneczone receives only your name, email address and Google account ID. We use that information only to create and sign you in to your Koneczone account, and we never sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to anyone except the service providers listed above that are needed to run the app. Koneczone's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can revoke Koneczone's access at any time in your Google Account permissions, and you can ask us to delete your account and the data we hold (see "Your choices" below).

4. Data from features we've removed

Koneczone used to include features we've since removed. We've deleted the data they collected, including gender, interested-in and intent settings. Copies in our provider's routine backups are removed as those backups expire.

5. Your choices

Delete your content — Settings lets you self-delete your messages, photos, stories, and other content at any time.
Delete your account entirely — available in the app, as explained on Delete your account. If you can't sign in, email support@koneczone.com.
Location sharing — off by default, and you can turn it off at any time.
Block or report — available for members, streams, chat messages and events.

Some records — reports filed against you, and blocks someone else placed on you — are trust & safety records we keep even after other data is deleted, since they aren't yours alone to erase.

6. Children's privacy

Koneczone is for adults 18 and older only, enforced at signup by date of birth (checked both in the app and in the database). We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we determine an account belongs to a minor, we suspend it and remove the profile data associated with it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices (encrypted connections, access-controlled database policies) to protect your data, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes

We'll update the date above when this policy changes; material changes will be called out in the app.
